RE: Fresher Guidelines

We DO NOT accept any work that has been previously published in a literary & arts journal, forum/archival site, or on an online blog. This does not include your personal blogs or social media, but we do ask you take the work down if submitted to us for consideration.

We accept simultaneous submissions, but please let us know as soon as possible if the piece is accepted elsewhere.

You can submit to different categories, but please send each category separately (i.e. poetry in one submission, photography in another).

Pieces submitted after the submission window or not following the prompt will not be considered.

Work that encourages or promotes hate of any kind, including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc., will not be accepted.

All written submissions should be in a .docx format (NOT .pdf) and in Times New Roman pt. 12 standard. Please double-check your document before submitting it (especially with poetry spacing).

There is a possibility we may print issues in the future. If this is the case, we will reach out directly to contributors regarding a print publication.

When submitting, please include an author bio up to 75 words and in the third person in the body of the email.

We are only welcoming BU/AUB student, alumni, and staff submissions at this time.
