Rehearsed reading of Capture by Emily Dinova

in Updates on 07/07/16

Last year’s winner of the playwriting category, Emily Dinova, flew in from New York last week, to see the rehearsed reading of her winning play, Capture. The play, which has already been staged off-Broadway, considers the light of a young woman in an abusive relationship through a series of often emotionally brutal, confrontational scenes, monologues and memory flashbacks. This UK reading was directed by Brad Gyori, pictured here with Emily, and there was a fascinating Q&A afterwards with Emily, the cast and John Foster, Fresher’s director of Playwriting.
