The Bournemouth Writing Prize Short Story Shortlist 2021

We are delighted to be able to announce the shortlist of The Bournemouth Writing Prize Short Story competition 2021. Congratulations to all of you listed here!

Every shortlisted story has been put forward for inclusion in the anthologies we will be publishing later in the year. We will let you know if yours is selected.

The judges, including literary agent Sophie Scard and Picador commissioning editor Ansa Khan Khattak, now have the very difficult decision of choosing an overall winner!

Please don’t feel discouraged if you didn’t make it this time. We will open for entries again in the Autumn.
