Announcing The Bournemouth Writing Prize (Short Story) Longlist 2021

We are delighted to be able to announce which short stories have been long-listed for the Bournemouth Writing Prize 2021. Congratulations to all of you listed here!

It was an absolute pleasure to read the hundreds of entries that were submitted from all around the world, although trying to reduce it to these 65 names was so SO hard! Please don’t feel discouraged if you didn’t make it this time. We will open for entries again in the Autumn.

Every story named here has been put forward for potential inclusion in the anthologies that we will be publishing later in the year. We will let you know if your story is selected.

The shortlist for both the Short Story category and the Poetry category will be announced next week. Watch this space!
