It’s time to start thinking about your 500 word short story for the Writing Wizardry Competition. Here are a few magical tips to get you started…

  • Make a mind map about each of your characters. Describe them with as many adjectives as you can, and maybe even draw them. This way, you can really imagine your characters and what they would say or do in your story.
  • Every part of your story is important! List the stages of your story, making sure you know exactly what is happening, and then see if you can make it better.
  • There are no limits to your imagination! Your story can go however you would like. You have 500 words to create a fantastic story.

Good luck to all you witches and wizards!
